Beautiful way to encourage writing Apr 14, 2009

Write. Write your crazy thoughts, your frustrations, your daily adventures or drudgery. , Encourage everyone you know to write. If you have children, insist they write. Honestly, it's mentally and physically helpful.
Having said that - there is something about a nice journal that makes people WANT to write. So buy one for your friend, your kid, that person you have to buy for and don't know what to buy.
I've bought many journals over the years for myself and as gifts. This feels great to the touch, is nice quality leather, big enough to write in without a table but small enough to stash in a large pocket. It's less expensive than others I have tried of the same quality and the fun colors and engraving choices make it even more appealing. Practically speaking, a composition notebook will do the same job, cheaper. However, if you want something to encourage yourself or someone else to write, I recommend these journals.

This notebook is very elegant and feels good in the hand, like the old leather bound books. I bought it as a gift for someone who's a writer and loves notebooks. She loved it! She said it was so nice she was scared to write in it, lol
Really great notebook, and well worth the money!
