5Perfect size for me  May 24, 2008
By hollie
As a writer, I'm always on the lookout for little journals that can fit in my purses and book bags without wearing down my shoulder. Most of the little journals I find are spiral-bound, or they're wide-ruled, or they're just ugly.

I am quite happy with this little addition. The leather is soft to the touch and the binding is strong (and the paper is not bound to the cover, so the inside pages bend without bending the outside spine). The pages are ivory, and while I would have prefered white, they are both thick yet flexible (i.e., they're not so thick that they crack, yet not so thin that every pen leaks through to the other side). A ribbon marker to keep my place would be the only addition to make this beyond perfect.

It arrived shrink-wrapped and in new condition. I'm definitely buying from them again when I fill this one up.

Also, it's more grey than it appears in the picture; no purple hues whatsoever to it. I wasn't thrilled with the color shown here, but I liked the saying. I'm glad it's more grey than I expected.

2Disappointed  Aug 04, 2010

After looking in stores and online, i chose this journal based on the front cover. I found it difficult to find the size before I purchased, but thought it was about 7x9 and it's NOT. It's maybe 5x7 and 3/4" thick. I haven't removed the shrink wrap yet 'cause I'm not sure I like it enough. Bought two others, all made by eccolo and distributed by fine keepsakes . They were shipped separately so I had to pay postage on all of them. One came by ups and the other two by usps. I'm kinda' bummed.

1Never Stop Thinking Journal  Jan 06, 2012
By Maureen__Murray
Even though the journal says never stop thinking, you may not be able to write your thoughts, because this thing is so darn small. The cover is nice enough, but the journal itself is tiny. Not worth the money.

I couldn't have asked for more in a journal. It's cheap, of high quality, and the perfect size. Love it love it love it. I might buy different styles for my next one, but if you are looking for a journal, this is a prefect place to start.

1Never judge a book by it's cover...or photograph!  Jun 10, 2008
By M. Smith
After reading the other reviews of this book I decided to purchase two so I would not only qualify for the free shipping, but also have one on hand for the time that I'd fill up the first. After getting them and tearing into the package I discovered the leather was nothing like it looks in the photograph. It looks like high quality leather in the image, but the actual product was very cheap leather, if even leather at all! It had a plastic like feel to it. I wasn't pleased at all with these journals. I packed them back in the box and sent them back.

I ended up buying a Moleskine journal and couldn't be happier! They may be a few dollars more, but they also have a place marking ribbon and the elastic band to hold the cover shut, not to mention the name and history backing them.
