 Disappointing Feb 11, 2008

In a word, "disappointed". For a product that cost $31 and retails for $43, I expected real leather, not thin, stretchy material of unknown origin. I expect not to see wrinkles all around the binding where the fit is sloppy. I expect the diary's endpapers to be something nice (since the description said it was "lined")---something other than the same sheets of blank white writing paper that constitute the pages of the diary itself. Finally, the color is very pale and not nearly as rich and deep as the photo shows it to be. The only thing about this diary that is of good quality is the lock and key. In short, it isn't worth the money. If it was easy, I would have returned it.

This was a great journal for males and females.I gave four of them to my friends as gifts! The lock is tight and safe so don't loose the key. I would really reccomend it to those picky teens who want their privacy.
