The reason I bought this diary was because of its lock. Unfortunately, the lock doesn't work. Perhaps it's my copy of it, I'm not sure. The diary itself is very nice. It's hard to keep open, but I don't have a problem with that. I would say that it's not worth the money I spent since an important aspect of the journal doesn't work (the lock). Overall, it's a nice diary, but there are others out there that are just as nice and are cheaper.

These things are sometimes hard to get by, My daughter love it and secures her little secret in this nice diary.

I bought this diary for my daughter because the lock seemed more secure than the others. However, after a couple of uses, it doesn't work. Overall the quality of the diary is nice - leather, lined, but pretty useless to her since it doesn't lock.
