Amazing Little Book May 13, 2010
By Jacob Wood
"Vaultmaster"
Im not sure why this book got a bad review. I guess the other reviewer thought it was too small and didn't notice the word "mini" in the product title. The book is amazingly small but very fine in quality and workmanship. The cover is real leather and looks great. The pages are trimmed in gold and look absolutely beautiful. Its similar to personalized leather bound scriptures for those who know what im talking about. The book fits in the palm of my hand but the size of the print is just right for the book size. I have 20/40 in one eye and 20/80 in the other eye and can read this book just fine. So if you have trouble reading this book you must have really really bad eye sight. The print is very sharp and crisp, not blotchy like you might find in a photocopy. The book also has a ribbon that you can use to mark a place in the book. Awesome book, I am actually planning on buying a few more soon for gifts to family members. They all wanted one after seeing my book. The book seems very robust and should last many years in my back pocket.

This is a very nice pocket version of the Constitution. Book is leather and binding is good. A great little book to carry with you and it is interesting to finally read the whole constitution.

Small Enough To Carry IN Your Purse Or Pocket May 01, 2010
By M. Taylor A delightful edition of one of our most treasured documents. Print is large, easy to read. Leather binding is well crafted. A great benifit when discussing important actions taking place in our country today. Wow your friends by whipping out an actual copy of our constitution and showing whether our leaders are following the constitution!

THE Essential Read For All Americans Jul 08, 2011
By J. H. Minde
"Everything I need is right here"
Whether you were born in the United States, live in the United States, or want to learn about the United States, this handy pocket edition of our fundamental documents is absolutely invaluable. The fact is that the President, the Justices of the Supreme Court, and every member of Congress is given a copy of an edition of this little book upon taking their Oath of Office, and it is not unusual to see a Member of Congress poring over some text as they frame an argument. Justice Marshall once joked that he'd worn out as many copies of this book as there are lawyers.
The tragedy is that in the United States most schools no longer teach Civics, and so it is up to us, as Citizens, parents, children, and human beings, to familiarize ourselves with the beautiful cadences of the Declaration of Independence or the elegant complexities of our living Constitution and its Amendments, including the Bill of Rights. At age 220, the Constitution remains the oldest functioning written document of national fundamental laws in the world.
This elegant volume also contains our nation's first organizing document, the Articles of Confederation, for comparison. The two documents were written by many of the same men, and it is fascinating to see how a decade's worth of practical experience in governance altered many of the ideas our Founders had on what makes a good government.
Within its leatherbound, gilt-edged covers you will also find the Virginia Bill of Rights, the Virginia Statute on Religious Freedom, the Massachusetts Bill of Rights, relevant portions of The Federalist Papers, and more.
Yes, this is a small, dense volume (printed on bible paper), and yes, it may finally convince you that you need glasses, but they'll be a worthy investment. And ignore the reviewers who complain about "spelling errors." There aren't any. The original text of the Constitution is reproduced as written, circa 1789.
EXTREMELY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Pocket Constitution Mar 28, 2011
By cckajones This is a great portable, pocket-sized book with several founding documents. Other reviewers mentioned spelling errors, but all I can see is that the publisher used the original Old English spelling in which the Constitution was written. Gold-edged and seemingly well-bound. I would recommend it to anyone who is a friend to liberty.
